«O2 Slovakia», a company within the E&T Telecom group (which is owned by the «E&T» group with a 50% + 1 economic stake), has signed a binding agreement with «Liberty Global» for the full acquisition of «UPC Slovakia»'s assets for 95 million euros on a cash- and debt-free basis. This strategic deal will enable «O2 Slovakia» to offer its customers comprehensive service packages with added value. It will also enhance the company's competitive position locally, in line with the ongoing evolution of the Slovak telecommunications sector towards providing fixed and mobile services, by integrating «UPC Slovakia»'s assets into its mobile network.
